Born in the city of Cheboksary, lives and works in Moscow. Paints in the style of abstract expressionism using mixed media (acrylic paints and gels, texture pastes, oil pastels, charcoal).
Agelska's paintings are about constant self-development and self-knowledge. Improvisation, search for forms and color are the basis of her work. The canvas is painted in several layers. Paint is added, then removed and added again until the artist's personal perception of how they blend and begin to "live" together is completely satisfied. Usually these are uncontrolled actions and their direction is unknown, but the artist definitely feels when to continue or stop. Random chaotic strokes, lines, perfectly chosen colors tell you the story of unconditional passion for your creativity.
Agelska finds inspiration in nature, travel, people, and collects ideas from everyday life. To be an artist for her is to turn what she feels into something physical, tangible. She is always for a strong emotional connection between the painting and the viewer (customer). When that magic happens, her work is complete.
Christina collaborates with interior designers and architects, and has published her work in AD, ELLE Decoration, and SALON magazines. Her paintings adorn the walls of private houses in Argentina, Canada, Germany, Italy and Russia.
