She created a romantic image of the sea in a mosaic panel that will make the viewer stop, remember the past, think about themselves, their “I” in today’s world.

We are not always honest with ourselves, we try to hide behind routine, we are in an endless race to do everything in the world. But sometimes you need to ask yourself the question: “when was the last time I thought, rested, was alone with my thoughts?” Therefore, my work is about relationships with yourself, about sincerity, about internal conversation.

The sea is not depicted, but all the objects create the atmosphere: the meander ornament along the edge of the drapery, and shells, and Homer’s book “Illiad and Odyssey,” and southern fruits, and a camera as a symbol of memory. I wanted to convey not only the joy of a sunny day near the coast, but also thoughtfulness, slight melancholy, a feeling of peace and tranquility, thoughtfulness.

The sea is a multifaceted image. It can be both rebellious and calm. For me, the sea is between a calm and agitated state, as indicated by the folds developing from the wind. But the anxiety here is not about haste, but about the waves of thoughts that visit us as soon as we take time for ourselves.

The panel is made using the Roman mosaic technique. The choice of materials - smalt, porcelain stoneware and gold - helped convey the volume and materiality of the objects and add realism to them.
Creating a panel requires time, discipline, and concentration. Spending a lot of time creating mosaics, I analyzed a lot in the process and thought about various topics. Therefore, each viewer in my work will be able to find for themselves their own meaning, their own symbols and signs.
